GHKKPM's Sumit Singh indirectly addresses the rumours of two-timing Shagun Pandey, asking for them to stop

Actress Sumit Singh from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has recently been in the spotlight due to rumours that she is two-timing her former co-star, Shagun Pandey. Shagun also responded to the rumours in a subtle manner, using the well-known Hindi phrase "Kuch toh log kahe ge logo ka kaam hai kehna" (People will always have something to say; it's their job to speak). He followed this with a popular meme of Arnab Goswami saying "Kuch Bhi" (Anything).

According to the reports, Pandey discovered this alleged situation and went to Singh's set to confront her and the actor involved. Following the circulation of these reports, Sumit refuted the rumours in a conversation with Pinkvilla. The actress dismissed rumours of romantic involvement with Shagun, clarifying that his visit to the set was due to concern for her health, not because of any relationship. She emphasised their familial relations and refuted claims of causing disruptions on set or delaying shooting. She further mentioned that dealing with the rumours has been upsetting and stressful for her, especially with the constant messages and calls she's been receiving regarding the matter.
