From Pavitra Rishta to Doli Armaanon Ki

Shruti Kanwar, fondly known as Ovi of Indian television's most widely followed primetime drama Pavitra Rishta, will be seen entering ZEE TV's popular show Doli Armaanon Ki. Playing the role of Radha, a far-off cousin of Kanchan (played by Vibhuti Thakur) the sister-in-law of Samrat, Shruti enters the show at an important and interesting juncture, where Urmi (played by Neha Marda) has finally filed for a divorce case against her abusive husband Samrat ( Played by Mohit Malik).

Radha is a young, beautiful and docile girl from a small town, who is brought to Samrat's house to take care of his five year old son Shourya. On taking up the role, Shruti said, "My character of Radha, is in complete contrast to the roles I have played in the past. Radha is a young, small town girl who lost her mother at the time of birth and more recently, her father. She hails from a poor family and is now left orphaned with nobody to take care of her. When she enters Samrat's house, it's a never-seen-before world for her and she is in complete awe of the richness and luxury she sees around her. I am really excited to enter the show at this point and my character in the show will be seen playing a pivotal role".

The current track of the show has Urmi fighting a lone battle against her estranged husband Samrat but Radha's character will unfold an interesting turn.  The show will see how the timid, village girl Radha starts to fall for Samrat. Her fascination for Samrat will only grow by the day, however Samrat will purely consider this nave girl as an easy access at home.  A turn of events will see how Radha creates havoc in Samrat's life.
