From Anita-Rohit to Nakuul-Jankee; TV celebs who embraced parenthood in 2021

The year 2021 was filled with good news. Many celebrities embraced parenthood and welcomed their little bundle of joy.

Here’s a list of popular celebrity couples who became parents for the first time in the year 2021:

Anita Hassanandani- Rohit Reddy:

Anita announced her pregnancy in the second trimester while her baby bump was quite visible. The actress was a part of Naagin 5 when she conceived. She continued working for a while after getting the news. The actress broke all myths regarding showing off the bare baby bump. Anita and Rohit welcomed baby boy on February 9th 2021. They named their son ‘Aarav’

Mohit Malik and Additie Malik:

After playing a loving father in Star Plus show ‘Kulfii Kumarr Bajewala’, actor Mohit Malik embraced fatherhood in real life. Additie and Mohit became parents to a bay boy on April 29th 2021. They named their munchkin ‘Ekbir’.

Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parikh:

Nakuul and Jankee embracing parenthood came as a surprise to their fans. The duo were able to keep the news under wraps until the last tremister. They announced the same with beautiful baby shower pictures on social media. They are parents to a charming son named ‘Sufi’ who was born on the 3rd of February.

Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai:

After rebuking rumors of pregnancy for a while, Kishwer Merchant announced her pregnancy early this year. She was quite active on social media and would often share her pregnancy journey with the viewers. The duo welcomed a baby boy on August 27th 2021. They later named him ‘Nirvair’.

5.    Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen:

Resting all the separation rumours to rest, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen welcomed a baby girl on 1st November 2021. Charu’s sister-in-law Sushmita Sen was present when Charu was taken to the hospital for delivery. She had shared her experience of seeing a new born’s birth on her social media. She was elated with the entry of yet another ‘Laxmi’ into their family. Rajeev and Charu later announced that they’ve named their baby girl as ‘Ziana’.

Apart from the above actors like Jyotsana Chandola- Nitesh Singh, Ankit Mohan- Ruchi Savran and others also became parents in 2021.
