Friends Forever...

As per a famous notion,  "Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born" and that's so very true.

Just imagine a day when you don't have a companion to go for midnight drives, you don't have a buddy who can be regarded as master in crime, someone who would scream at you and adore you the very next moment!! Well, this is what friends are for..

And since 1935 we have been graced by Americans the opportunity to celebrate this beautiful bond under the aegis 'Friendships Day' which falls on the first Sunday of August every year. So this year let's get to know some friendly times of our TV stars and how much fun they have had with their buddies….

Shubhangi Aatre – "Friendship is a divine feeling that has to be selfless"
For me my husband is my best friend and the best quality in him is that we have immense faith in each other. He is very patient, though he does over react at certain situations, but he understands me equally

Four years back when I had entered the TV industry my kid was very young and at that juncture my husband extended immense support towards me and helped me grow to the person I am today."

Avinash Sachdev- "Friendship is the best relation on earth"
I cherish my friends a lot as I don't have siblings. I share a very deep bonding with all my friends. It is believed that it is difficult to maintain your childhood friends and if you do they go on for lifetime. I'm damn close to my school friends till date.

When I'm with them it's the best time to enjoy life and it's about sharing all good and bad things with each other. I can never forget our vacation trips.

Prarthana Behere- "Friendship means sacrificing everything."
Personally I'm very friendly, I have many buddies in all genres. But I have a core group of 5 people, a mix of both boys and girls and have a great time with them. They know me very well, understand me and I can call them anytime without hesitation.

I can never forget the time when we were waiting to get a big project but it slipped from our hands. But finally we are friends and at that point of time without informing any concerned person we moved out to Mahabaleshwar and had lots fun.

Jay Bhanushali- "Friendship is life and means everything to me"
I do have many good friends in the industry but amongst my entire group, my closest buddy is Ali Merchant whom I can call even at 4 a.m. The best part about him is that he is a very clean hearted person and he has a list of bad habits, so can't point out on a single one (smiles). So all these days we have shared many memorable moments together but can never forget our trip to Goa.

Ragini Khanna- "Friends come after my family so they mean a lot to mean"
We are a group of three girls and the best thing about being with them is that we fight like cats and dogs, but patch up also very soon. So in short we share a lot of understanding. And I don't find any negatives in them because I have accepted them as they are and it's the same on their side.


Neil Bhatt- "Friendship means everything to me and I can't survive without it"
At present the cast and crew of my present serial are my best buddies as I spend 20hours a day with them and they make me feel very homely, loved, wanted. Their collective efforts help in keeping the atmosphere light on sets.

Apart from them I have a different gang of friends whom I know from past 15-16 years. When I'm with them I can sit with them even on a footpath without any inhibitions with a stress less mind. So they are my life.
