For me, every day is Mother’s Day: Akanksha Juneja on her bond with her mother

On the special occasion of Mother’s Day, actress Akanksha Juneja pour her heart out about the most special woman in her life: her mom.

Talking about her bond with her mother, the actress says, 

"Moms are the best. They work 24/7, 365 days a year selflessly for their children and families. Me and my mom are more like friends. And I believe a world without a mother would be like a world without love. For me, every day is Mother’s Day and we don’t need a particular day to celebrate mothers and their presence in our lives. I make sure to call my mother twice or thrice a day, while working."

Recently, the actress visited her home after a long time. Talking about how she spent the quality time with her mother, the actress says, 

"When I am usually with my mother I don't let her work much, though she doesn’t allow me, but I force her to sit and relax. Recently, I visited my home and spent some quality time with her. She was so happy when I visited home after a long time that she had prepared all my favourite dishes before my arrival. I had a pre-mother's day celebration with my mother as I had to return due to work commitments. I took my mother out for a lunch date and gifted her a beautiful suit. She was so happy to celebrate some quality time with me."

Further praising her mother for raising her the right way, the actress says, 

"Whatever I am today, I owe it to my mother. My mother has always been very supportive to all her kids. She has raised me and my sisters in a perfect way. She encouraged us to dream big and then work hard to make that dream come true. I wish every mother a very Happy Mother's day."
