Faisal Khan on Independence Day: I hope we continue to progress and make our country proud

Today, on 15th August 2022, we celebrate our 75th Independence Day. It is one of the most significant days in the life of every Indian. On this special occasion, India Forums got in touch with popular actor Faisal Khan who shared his thoughts on Independence Day.

Faisal is known for his stint in shows like DID lil champs, Jhalak Dhiklaa Jaa, Nach Baliye, Maharana Pratap, Chandragupt Maurya among others. Currently, Faisal essays the lead role in Sony SAB show ‘Dharm Yodha Garud’.

Talking about Independence Day, Faisal said, "First and foremost, I would like to wish all my fellow Indians, a very happy Independence Day. My fondest memories of this day goes back to my school days where we would celebrate this day in all its pride and glory. We would hoist our National Flag and sing the National anthem and for some reason back then also I was made to lead the show. I have always been interested in singing and it was a huge deal for me when they made me sing for this occasion. We would also get chocolates and sweets post celebration and these simple memories are something I really look back upon now”.

It is needless to say that I am very proud to be an Indian and I hope as a society, as brothers and sisters of this Nation, we continue to progress and make our country proud.
