Star Plus is going all out to revamp its afternoon slot by launching Star Plus Dopahar'. Not one or two, but four new shows will grace the TV screens in a few days. While every show has its own reasons for grabbing eyeballs, there is one show which created an instant buzz, courtesy it being an adaptation of a popular show.
The show we are talking about is none other than 'Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?' which is the Indian adaptation of the super hit Turkish show, 'Fatmagul'. Thanks to the popularity and fan base of 'Fatmagul' the viewers are already excited to watch the show across the world and more particularly in India.
However, considering it is an adaptation, several had the doubt as to will the viewers witness a repetitive story line or a monotonous setting?
In a viz-a-viz conversation with actress Pankhuri Awasthi who plays Amala, we quizzed her about our doubt to which she said, "When it comes to the basic plot of the show, there is no real change in it. The producers and director of 'Kya Qusoor..' have met the writers of the original 'Fatmagul' and have discussed the whole thing at length."
She continued, "However, there are some minor but pivotal changes being made as certain things are not appropriate for the Indian audience. And of course, the biggest and most important difference is that 'Fatmagul' was based in Turkey and 'Kya Qusoor..' is based in India. The treatment, the setting and the presentation of the story completely changes this show."
That gives the fans a perfect outlook and an important reason to watch the show, right? Leave in your comments below.

The reason why I'm always against any shows/movies being remade is that there are so many things that are lost from the original because the new makers want to add their own twists and remove things that they think will not go over well. They all say they've met the writers of the original but they rarely are ever able to respect the original/source material. Fatmagul was a very well written show and while we're good with production quality and the acting is good, writing is a very major let down in our shows.

I really can't wait for this show. Loving it already. Pankhuri Awasthy matches the character of Fatmagul and Rajbeer Singh matches the character of Kerim

What was there in Fatmagul that's not appropriate for Indian audience? Don't tell me that they are going to omit Asu/Hacer' s character or omit Meltem-Mustafa affair or worse they will show romance of Fatmagul-Kerim within just 2 weeks.
