#EXCLUSIVE: 'I have a mythological face,' says Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni on joining Jhansi Ki Rani

Colors TV is all set to bring another mythological show, Jhansi Ki Rani after Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali. The role of Lakshmi Bai will be played by Anushka Sen, who has made an impact with her earlier shows, Baal - Veer, Internet Wala Love, and Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. Many popular faces are slowly coming onboard and the latest one to join it is Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni, who has given popular shows like Kasam, Saam Daam Dand Bhed, Hanuman and Vighnaharta Ganesh.

When we got in touch to know about her character and all she said, "I will be playing Rama Bai, Gangadhar Rao's ex-wife. I will be starting the shoot from 19th or 20th of this month. It is a positive role and I am extremely excited to be a part of the show." When we further asked her why she picked the project she revealed, " It is a pivotal role and how can I miss the chance of playing it."

The actress has been seen in a number of mythological shows and we asked if she feels that she has been typecasted for it. "People often say I have a mythological face and thus I get more opportunities to play them. I enjoy all of my roles and I love what I do," revealed Aishwarya.

When we asked if she is eager to play a negative role or not, the actress shared, "I think I am still not ready to pull off negative roles. They need a lot of experience and I am not ready for it."

It will be really interesting to see Aishwarya in Colors' upcoming show Khoob Ladi Mardaani Jhansi Ki Rani by Contiloe.
