Director Kunal Deshmukh, who teamed up with Emraan Hashmi again for "Jannat 2", says the audiences have suddenly woken up to the actor's talent. He feels Emraan's career graph resembles that of Saif Ali Khan.
"Emraan's career is a lot like Saif Ali Khan's. Saif was the same person... but suddenly after 'Dil Chahta Hai', he turned out to be a cool dude. Something like that has happened with Emraan. He is doing really well," Deshmukh told IANS.
He says Emraan has grown up as an actor ever since he made his debut with "Footpath" in 2003.
"Emraan has not changed, but people have woken up. He is challenging himself. He is bringing a lot to the table. He is ironing on all levels than just in one. Now suddenly it's cool to watch Emraan Hashmi. People are waking up slowly," added Deshmukh.
Deshumukh had earlier worked with Emraan in "Tum Mile" and "Jannat".
