The FIR was registered under Sections 376 (I) (rape), 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 342 (wrongful confinement) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
In a new tweet, she has questioned the Mumbai Police’s progress in the case.
Tagging the handle of Mumbai Police, Payal expressed her displeasure on Twitter: “It's been 4 months and no action has been taken against #anuragkashyap inspite of me providing evidence. Do I have to die to get the proceedings going?”
She added in another tweet, “It's been a while and @mumbaipolice hasn't done it's best. An earnest request. It's a matter of women and we should be aware of what examples we are setting.”

what a pathetic writing of an article. Did she say, she was raped for 7 years, goddamn ! Ridiculous fact checking, you guys can't even read your own articles from the past. Allegations were - she was harassed 7 years ago, not raped for 7 years.
