One would remember how Dimpy Ganguly was an extremely popular TV name back in the day for firstly, being the woman who married politician Rahul Mahajan on TV in the latter's swayamvar show and then appearing in an array of TV shows including Bigg Boss 8.
But post that and her divorce from Mahajan, Ganguly not only seemed to have quit the industry as she married Dubai-based businessman Rohit Roy but even go almost entirely away from her family and friends here. Now, a mother of two and even expecting their third baby, the former actor went on to talk about an array of things in an at-length interview.
She first opened up on guarding her personal life from negativity as she mentioned how the initial years were very hard as she had to start from scratch. She relocated and everything was new to her. She then mentioned that the only way to do it effectively was to completely disconnect. There was a time in her life when she went completely silent and didn't talk to anybody and didn't want to as well. She added how just wanted to take this time to heal and start a new life.
She added how in this period, she trusted nobody. In fact, she even moved away from her parents and even though she was in touch with them but what she was going through among other things, they had no idea. One of the reasons for doing that was also the fact that she didn't want her parents to see their child suffering like that and hence made the choice of moving away.
Considering how much she faced in life in every aspect, when she was asked that would she change anything in her life given a chance. To this, she answered that she wouldn't change a thing in her life as she believes that she needed to go through all this. She stated how her father would tell her a Bengali proverb, Keo dekhe sekhe, keo theke sekhe’ (Bengali proverb: Some learn by seeing, some after making a mistake) and she falls into the latter. All this gave her perspective and hence, she wouldn't change a thing.
We hope she continues to stay happy and with the third baby on the way, we hope she has a safe and healthy pregnancy as well.
