Did Twinkle Khanna Left Akshay Kumar's Home Over Rumours With Priyanka Chopra?

Director Suneel Darshan has made surprising claims regarding the marriage of Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar. According to him, Twinkle walked out of their home due to rumors linking Akshay with actress Priyanka Chopra. The rumors intensified during the filming of their 2005 movie "Barsaat," which reportedly strained Akshay and Twinkle's relationship.

Speaking with a media publication  Suneel shared, “Akshay Kumar was the hero of Barsaat. As the film started, he faced some ‘ajeeb sa problem‘ with his wife. Barsaat had already started shooting with Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. The film was supposed to be shot in one schedule and five days before the schedule, Akshay called me and asked me to meet."

When the duo met, Akshay informed him about a ‘blunder’ that has happened which resulted in his decision to step down from the film. “Kuch blunder aise ho chuke thay (He did some blunders). Some rumours about Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar started doing the rounds and Twinkle had left his home. As an actor you have to be responsible. If your wife has been an actress, she knows everything about the industry and she has also worked with all the big stars. She knew everything," the director shared.

I don’t blame Priyanka Chopra for this. She was doing what was in her own interest," Suneel further added.

Bobby starred alongside Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu in "Barsaat," which received mixed reviews and achieved average box office success.
