Did Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui secretly marry for the second time?

Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17 and renowned stand-up comedian, has once again found himself in the spotlight, this time for a significant personal milestone. According to information obtained by Times Now/Telly Talk, Munawar has recently tied the knot for the second time. 

The news of Munawar's marriage had been circulating on social media, with rumours suggesting that the ceremony took place about 10-12 days ago. Although Munuwar has yet to confirm the news, a source close to him has confirmed the comedian's second marriage to Times Now.

Confirming the news, the source said, "Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko. (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two)." 

He further added, "Only the couples near and dear were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close knit function."

A social media post that was going viral revealed that the couple held a reception yesterday, on May 26, 2024, at the ITC Grand Maratha. The bride, identified as Mehzabeen Coatwala, is speculated to be a makeup artist. 

For those not in the loop, Munawar Faruqui's first marriage came to light during his participation in Kangana Ranaut's show 'Lockup.' It was then revealed that his marriage to Jasmine ended in 2022, and they share a five-year-old son.

However, his personal life became the subject of intense scrutiny during his time on Bigg Boss 17. His ex-girlfriend, Ayesha Khan, accused him of being unfaithful to both her and the social media influencer Nazila Sitaishi. Later, Sitaishi claimed he was involved with several women simultaneously. The drama culminated when Sitaishi provided clarification via Instagram Live, accusing Munawar of cheating.
