TV trends do take their own course of time and more often than not, we do in fact notice some similar pattern of tracks and story line in the leading shows. And, if for nothing at all, if they happen almost simultaneously, they we can't help but notice the kind of similarities they exhibit.

We listed down some of the current trends we think are all over Indian television! Read on, and we bet you'd agree.

Arrests and accusations - The leading men behind the bars!

Kabir (Adnan Khan) was just recently accused of going against the law by announcing Triple Talaq with Zara (Eisha Singh) but he does get saved. In Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka too, Rajdeep (Abhinav Shukla) did in fact lead to Kunal's (Shakti Arora) arrest, but things did turn into the latter's favour.

Leaps and separations - For undying love!

Leaps followed by separation are two trends that go hand in hand, and there is no denying that fact. While Yeh Hai Mohabbatein had a leap of a couple of months followed by Adi's (Abhishek Verma) death, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai too saw a two year leap followed by Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira's separation. Currently, Bepannaah is about to witness a leap too, post which there might be the entry of a third guy thereby kick-starting a love-triangle between Aditya (Harshad Chopda) and Zoya (Jennifer Winget).

Infidelity and the other woman - To add drama and more!

Bepannaah started off with the idea of Yash (Sehban Azim) and Pooja (Namita Dubey) being disloyal to Zoya and Aditya respectively. And it was only recently that the latter two will admit to the fact and move on. 'Silsila...' too, has begun to give glimpses about what might follow between Kunal and Nandini...

Father and his estranged daughter - To develop a storyline alongside parellel tracks!

Kumkum Bhagya has been, for a major part of the recent show about how Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) is unaware of his daughter, and in a turn of instances is made to come to terms with it. Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala too, deals with how Sikander (Mohit Malik) has no idea about Kullfi (Aakrti Sharma) being his own daughter, and hence, ends up actually pushing her away. 'Yeh Rishta...' in multiple ways deals with the distance between a father and the daughter/son, and the journey to overcoming it together.

Consummations and moment of love - For some hype

Only recently, the viewers did get to witness Zara and Kabir's sensuous moments in Ishq Subhan Allah, which of course leads to the chances of their reconciliation go up higher. Meera (Aditi Sharma) and Vivaan (Arjit Taneja) will have their moment of love when the two of them will be tipsy, only to realize their fondness and love for each other.

Supernatural and thriller shows - Following some footsteps of TRP topper Naagin 3!

Naagin 3 went on air a couple of weeks ago, and with an all new cast, the show has been going places just as it was expected to. Following the footsteps, Ekta also launched the Vivek Dahiya - Karishma Tanna satrrer Qayamat Ki Raat, which has been doing well with the viewers. Airing soon will be episodics in the form of Laal Ishq on And TV and Kaun Hai on Colors, as well as Gul Khan's next, Nazar, on Star Plus.

Now, we think that they are not just tried and tested formulas, but actually almost all things based on which the Indian television does function.
