Three more Bollywood actresses have been named in the extortion case of conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, following Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi. According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate's investigation has linked Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar to the case.
ED investigations have found that Sukesh Chandrashekhar allegedly used extorted money to send gifts to Sara, Janhvi, and Bhumi, according to an India Today article.
Sukesh recently posted a handwritten statement in response to the actress Jacqueline Fernandez's intimate photos with him. He confirmed that they were in a romantic relationship with no financial obligations.
Sukesh also targeted actor Janhvi Kapoor through his wife Leena Maria Paul. Janhvi was allegedly offered things worth over Rs 18 lakh by the conman. Sukesh extorted the same amount of money from Aditi Singh.
Janhvi was reached by Leena Maria Paul, the owner of Nail Artistry, who invited her to the launch of her salon in Bengaluru on July 19, 2021.
The Gunjan Saxena actress inaugrated the salon in Bengaluru, unaware of Sukesh and Leena's histories, and received payment of Rs. 18.94 lakh in professional fees in her bank account.
Janhvi also informed the ED that on the day of the event, Leena's mother gave her a Christian Dior tote bag in addition to money.
Sukesh set his sights on Sara Ali Khan in May 2021. He introduced himself to the actor as Suraj Reddy over WhatsApp chat on May 21, 2021.
As their WhatsApp conversation progressed, Sukesh told Sara that he would like to surprise her with a car as a kind gesture.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar had his sights set on Bhumi Pednekar, another Bollywood star. Pinky Irani, a Sukesh associate, approached Bhumi in January 2021, purporting to be the Vice President HR of News Express Post.
The Badhaai Do actress informed ED officials that she did not receive any gifts from Sukesh Chandrasekhar or Suraj or Shekhar or any of his associates.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar, 32, is currently detained at Tihar Jail in Delhi for allegedly extorting Rs 215 crore from Aditi Singh, the wife of Ranbaxy's owner. He extorted Rs 215 crore from Aditi Singh under the guise of helping her husband get out of jail. He pretended to be an officer, posing as Law Secretary, Home Secretary, representative of Home Minister Amit Shah, and representative of the Prime Minister's Office.

The list keeps getting longer and longer. What was he getting out of sending “free” gifts. Did he want something in return?? Or did he think that if he spends the extorting money no one would find out??
