Citadel Honey Bunny Teaser Launch: Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Varun Dhawan talk about their 'romantic' action scene

Today, fans saw the teaser launch of Citadel: Honey Bunny. The show is headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan who are coming together for the first time. In the teaser, we can see a few romantic moments but Samantha Ruth Prabhu said the action is most appealing in the movie. It seems Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu shot non-stop for 11-12 minutes for an action sequence. The two were so much in sync that the filmmakers did not even have to say cut. Samantha Ruth Prabhu said this is her best ever onscreen chemistry with any star. 

The bond between Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu is evident. When a troll had made a comment on her appearance, Varun Dhawan said he met her and she was glowing unlike what people would like to believe. During the making of Citadel: Honey Bunny Samantha Ruth Prabhu was battling myositis. The filmmakers gave her time to regain her health. Given that the auto-immune condition affected her bones and joints, Samantha is a champ to pull off all the action scenes. Fans of Varun Dhawan are very happy with the teaser of Citadel. Amongst young stars, Varun Dhawan has done quite a few multi-genre projects. 

The shoot of Citadel: Honey Bunny has happened in Europe, in cold places like Serbia. It took a lot of effort on part of the whole cast and crew. Samantha Ruth Prabhu said her best onscreen chemistry might be with Varun Dhawan. She said he is one of the nicest human beings to have on set. The actress further said he makes sure everyone on the unit is happy and cheerful. The show is co-produced by the Russo Brothers Joe and Anthony who are the makers of foreign Citadel with Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.

It is coming on Prime Video on November 7, 2024. Varun Dhawan has a very enviable line-up of projects this year. He is doing a cameo in Stree 2 plus there is Citadel in November. The actor is also shooting for Atlee and Kalees’ film Baby John with Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh.
