The Sony TV mythological show, 'Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan' has been a sleeper success, where it has been appreciated for the portrayal of Hanuman's storyline.

And now that the track has progressed as to how Ram killed Ravana, the show will be portraying something that has never been done before on Indian TV. While Ramayana has always ended on Ram killing Ravana, 'Sankat Mochan..' will be portraying the saga of Ahiravana and Mahiravana.

Yes! That's right. And according to a leading news portal, machoman Arpit Ranka will be portraying the character of King Mahiravana, which is a first for Indian TV as mentioned above.

Apparently, King Mahiravana was summoned by Ravana before his death and he is a Rakshaha and rules the world outside earth. His motive would be to kill Ram and Lakshman.

Arpit is currently seen in 'Chandra Nandini' and will be juggling both the shows simultaneously.
