Talented and popular actress Richa Sony, recently seen on Star Plus' popular mythological series 'Siya Ke Ram' has always been up for taking up challenging roles.

Apart from daily soaps, the actress loves to explore her acting skills by doing episodic shows.

The latest we hear that, Richa will soon be seen essaying yet another challenging role on Sony TV's popular crime based episodic series Crime Patrol.

Our source informs us, "Richa will be seen as P.I (Private Investigator) Vrinda Desai in one of the upcoming story of Crime Patrol which will have the backdrop of Gujarat. She will be seen investigating a Crime encountered by a Gujarati family."

When we contacted Richa, she told us, "The way she investigates the crime and reaches to the truth is quite a challenging thing for me to portray. They generally don't show a lady cop in Crime Patrol but recently they have made few changes and they are now very particular about the casting. They approached me and wanted me to play this role. The final outcome of the show looks like a movie. Its quite challenging for me to play this role."
