Chandragupta Maurya to see major drama before leap..

Imagine's popular show Chandragupta Maurya, produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees Northe is all set for the big leap on August 6th after which the focus will be on the warrior Chandragupta Maurya who has compromised a lot and has overcome many a personal losses to safeguard
his mother land.

As we draw close to the leap, the episodes to be aired before that gain a lot of importance with many high points.

Our source tells us, "The Raj Khosh track will reach its ultimate climax just before the leap is taken. Before that, there will be the twin high points, with the death of both Karvinath (Tarun Khanna) and Moora, Maurya's mother. The ruthless Karvi will meet with his death when he attacks Maurya (Rushiraj Pawar). Also, there will be the emotional sequence between Chandragupta and his mother Moora just before her death. The sequence has been picturized very nicely wherein the dying mother takes a promise from her son that he will from now on overcome his personal loss and grow up to be an Emperor who will set aside his personal priorities and safeguard his mother land. Chandragupta will again be put to a dilemma where he will have to choose between his Guru Chanakya (Manish Wadhwa) and mother. Post his mother's death, Chandragupta will attack the palace of Karvi where Dhananand (Sooraj Thapar) is residing where the much awaited confrontation between Dhananand, Chandragupta and Chanakya will take place".

We contacted Manish Wadhwa who told us, "I don't want to reveal the high points, but yes, the next few episodes before the leap are going to be huge with respect to the story line".

For the uninitiated, Ashish Sharma of Gunahon Ka Devta fame will be playing Chandragupta Maurya post leap. The post leap story we hear, will begin with the track of Alexander and Salucus (Rajesh Shringarpure) who were introduced last week.

Get ready for the major twists before we get to see the warrior in Maurya...
