In a recent interview, actor Chandan Roy Sanyal, who was recently seen in the film 'Patna Shukla,' reflected on his experience working with his co-star Raveena Tandon on the movie. He also highlighted the transformative impact of the OTT platform on actors' opportunities and creative expression.
Recalling his admiration for Tandon's work since his school days, Chandan expressed.
Watching Raveena Tandon's films like 'Andaz Apna Apna' and 'Mohra' during my school days was surreal. And now, acting alongside her on 'Patna Shukla,' I find her to be not only fun but also an immensely competent actor. She always strives to deliver her best performance, and her presence on set is both inspiring and enjoyable.

Delving into the evolving landscape of entertainment, Chandan discussed the shifting dynamics brought about by the rise of OTT platforms, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said, "With the rise of OTT platforms post-COVID, the dynamics of storytelling have changed significantly. Each actor in a film like 'Patna Shukla' for example, now gets the opportunity to establish their individuality through their characters. Unlike in movies with big stars, where supporting actors may often get sidelined, OTT platforms provide a stage where every performer gets a voice of his own."
In the legal drama "Patna Shukla," Raveena Tandon takes on the role of the lead character, portraying a modest lawyer and homemaker. Her character embarks on a courageous journey to confront the education mafia through legal means. However, her noble endeavor comes with consequences as her family's security is jeopardized. Released on March 29, viewers can stream "Patna Shukla" on Disney+Hotstar.
