The upcoming season of 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' has been in the news already even before the show goes on-air. The line-up is star-studded like every season and several controversies have already hit the web.

Be it actor-host, Manish Paul's apparent mega fee or contestants' displeasure on the participation of actor-choreographer, Salman Yusuff Khan, the show has everyone talking about it already.

The latest addition to the news lane is about how Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan, who was slated to be a part of an episode to promote his film, 'Mohenjo Daro', opted out of the show at the last moment.

Reportedly, the channel wanted Hrithik to appear on the roast comedy show, 'Comedy Nights Bachao' along with 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 9.' The comedy show, 'Comedy Nights Bachao' has always been on the radar, owing to its nature of roast comedy which may or may not be taken well by several celebrities.

Hrithik apparently wasn't comfortable with the format and hence backed out of both the shows.

However, the shocking part is that actor Akshay Kumar, who is known for his comic prowess and has been a part of some comic acts in various shows, too has apparently backed out of both the shows for the promotion his upcoming film, 'Rustom'.

There was a controversy recently where Akshay, who appeared on 'Comedy Nights Bachao' for the promotion of Housefull 3 did not have a pleasant experience and was miffed with the show. Akshay's apparent slap to comedian Siddharth Jadhav for passing racist jokes on Lisa Haydon are still doing the rounds. Hence, the actor might give these shows a miss.

We tried contacting Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek, who remained unavailable for any comment.

HR and Akki took a right decision . Instead of coming in bakwas show CNB they will prefer to come in rocking show TKSS.

Yeh toh hona hi tha, colors have lost all sets of values and ethics. First they insulted Kapil Sharma and team. Then upasna Singh. Why are they getting so competitive with Kapil? I mean clubbing celebs participation with cnb along with jdj is so not needed. Why can't the celebs just be on jhalak? Krushna and Bharti make money by insulting people their jokes are so not funny.

Comedy Nights Bachao is one of the worst things one can see on television - these are the kinds of things/shows that give comedy a bad name!! I'm sooo happy that celebrities are refusing to come on their show!!!

And It would upset anyone... if Salman after winning a season comes back as a contestant. He's an amazing dancer. An amazing choreographer who almost won with Isha, but she got hurt, but then actually won with DD!! It would be unfair to all the contestants. Either get all pro dancers to have a jhalak choreographers season, or just have normal celebrities dancing. you can't have both.
I think they're trying to emulate last season - like Faisal. That was different - he had never been on Jhalak before and he didn't choreograph his own dances!!!

I hope more people refuse Comedy Nights Bachao. I watched one episode for like 10 minutes and I had a gag reflex throughout the 10 minutes. It's 10 minutes I wish I could somehow get back.

Comedy nights bachao is so boring and they try to be funny by insulting celebs.i tried to watch it and surprised to see why celebs r even on that show .it does not look funny .
About salman,no doubt he is a great dancer.just love his performance since DID.he was my fav.and i would like to watch his acts again.bt yes it is unfair.what would judges say to him.who outshines ,choreographer or dancer.it will be so confusing :p

So I now get it why color circulated Arr not comfortable in tkss or with kapil sharma. Jhalak look really bore this time.
Salman Yousuf already won with DD.now he's coming as celebrity obviously contestants won't be happy coz he will get special treat.technically he should not be participating as contestant.
And color both shows are shitfest.hr and Akkii did good thing
