CCSFA announces its first-ever nomination list!
Here is the list of nominations for the first ever Critics' Choice Short Film Awards

After much anticipation, the Film Critics Guild and Motion Content Group have announced the nominations for the first ever Critics' Choice Short Film Awards on their social media handles.
Chairperson Anupama Chopra, Secretary Bhawana Somaaya, Ajay Brahmatmaj along with Suchitra Tyagi revealed the list of nominees with a live video on Twitter.
The Critics' Choice Short Films Awards shared the nominations saying, "Catch the Nominations for the first ever #CriticsChoiceShortFilmAwards in the #BlueRoom. #CatchTheShortys"
Spanning across the genres of Best Film- Fiction, Best Film - Non Fiction, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director - Fiction, Best Director - Non-Fiction, Best Writer, Best Editor, Best Cinematographer, and Best Score, the awards received over hundreds of entries out of which five films per category have made it to the final nominations.
The top nominations include Kirti Kulhari starrer Maya, Kumud Mishra starrer Listener, Priya Chauhan's Barsaat Ki Raat, South Indian actor Kani Kusruti's Maa, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli's Lakshmi, Nandu Madhav's Drainage, The Black Cat directed by Bhargav Saikia, Mad directed by Vinod Rawat amongst others.
Aiming to recognize and appreciate the inventiveness and creativity of short films producers across the nation, Critics' Choice Short Film Awards is a first-ever collaborative effort of India's most credible film critics with Film Critics Guild and Motion Content Group, WPP's global content investment, and rights management company.
The Critics' Choice Short Films Awards event will be held in Mumbai on 15th December 2018.
