#CandidConfessions: A day in the Bigg Boss house...

I was given a chance to be a guest at the Bigg Boss house for a day. Take a look at my experience inside the Bigg Boss house!

So this year, India forums was invited by Bigg Boss to visit his house for a day. I grabbed this opportunity and was looking up to the experience and could feel the thrill that the contestants of the house feel. We departed from Mumbai at 6:30 in the morning and reached the sets in a couple of hours. There we were escorted by the Colors team and were taken to the Bigg Boss cafe where Big Boss had an amazing breakfast ready for us. After which, agents of Bigg Boss took away our cell phones, watches, and wallets!

The 14 of us were given microphones and we were made to wait until Bigg Boss called us. During this time, I exchanged names with the other 13 contestants. After some time we were blindfolded and taken in a car... one by one! The blood rush accelerated and I was super excited to see what would happen next. We were brought outside the car and taken into a dark room. And thus the countdown began. 5,4,3,2,1 and our blindfolds were off! the next thing we know is that we are at the main entrance of the house!

I entered the house with Sana, who was as excited as I was! We walked into the house and were welcomed by the contestants who were already inside. It was a feeling I can't express. Being inside the Bigg Boss house was something a lot of us fanatics dream of! The house was so beautiful that I got speechless for a few moments! I observed every detail of the house and was amazed to see the amount of detail that the team had put in! I could have lived in that house for like forever!

After all of us got in, we sat in the living area and decided to introduce ourselves. The catch with us contestants was that 9 contestants already knew each other for a long time and the rest of us were new faces. Out of the lot, Nayandeep, Vijaya, and Ankur were my favorites! We decided to break the ice over a game of Dumb Charades and midway we were interrupted by Bigg Boss who said, "Nominations ki Prakriya Ab Shuru Hoti Hai."

Just 15 minutes in the house and the nominations were already here! I didn't even remember everyone's name! Bigg Boss asked Ankur to come to the confession room. Ankur started walking towards the room very slowly and that's when Bigg Boss decided to play it smart. He called Ankur back to the couch and told us that we will have an open nomination! Well played Bigg Boss, Well played!

We looked at each others faces as the nominations began. Satish ji and I got the maximum number of nominations! Satish's reason was that he wanted to go out and I was nominated as people felt that I didn't interact with them much. (Well, the turtle needs time to get out of his shell!) The nominations concluded and Satish, Srividya, Anusha, Vijaya and I got nominated! Although I didn't express it, I was kind of sad for being nominated because I simply didn't want to leave the house!

We decided to continue the game of Dumb Charades and after a while, we dispersed. I decided to count the cameras in the house and successfully located around 55 cameras! You can't even pick your nose inside the house without someone watching! We have all heard rumors about the house being haunted. We started discussing Horror stories and after a while, we were all kind of hungry so we decided to brew some tea to subside our hunger. Bigg Boss had given us tea powder, Sugar, Water, a couple of utensils, a strainer and had also kept some milk in the fridge. Just when we all got excited for making tea, Bigg Boss poured water on our hopes and dreams of having hot tea! He didn't give us a gas supply in his stove! Poor Sameena Ji had to go on without her hourly cup of tea!

Bigg Boss then sent us lunch. We walked into the store room and I noticed a platter that said Non-Veg and got hold of it! Bigg Boss played it smart again. I felt targeted! It was as if he knew I don't eat fish! Bigg Boss sent us Fried fish and Fish gravy! I had to settle for Paneer Bhurji, Bhindi and Daal Chawal!

While we ate, Bigg Boss drew the blinds and that's when we knew that a tak was being prepared for us outside the house. Uma was called into the confession room and given a letter. The letter said that since this year a lot of Common Men have auditioned, the contestants who are NOT nominated have to perform something using a prop provided by Bigg Boss. The catch here was that the nominated ones will be the judges for this task! We rejoiced and the first thing I said was, "Aao kisi ko interaction karna hai?!?"

We stepped out into the lounge and saw a table full of props and a stage. There was a judges table and we judges were given titles that we had to award after each performance. There were tags like Hot, Sizzling, Bakwaas, Boring and there were two tags that said Jail! So the ones who get the Jail tag will be locked up in the dungeon of errors until Bigg Boss decides to let them out! Performances were impromptu. Nayandeep danced to Kala Chashmah and boy can he dance! I loved the 'Khanda Bhajiya' recipe by Rajul Ji and Sana's Jhingaat. Sameena Ji's Tapori Anarkali was unexpected and smart. After the task was completed, Ankur and Uma were locked up in the jail!

We were loitering around the house and killing time and I decided to go out and chat with Ankur and Uma. Ankur decided to defy authority and stepped out of the jail! Bigg Boss got furious and sent him right back in and called Uma out! Ankur was kind of sad but Karma hit him hard! After a while Bigg Boss announced that it is time for us to go back to our homes but Ankur had to stay in the house! He played a couple of songs for us as we wanted to dance and requested him to spin a record for us. Ankur was looking at us through the jail and Bigg Boss decided to let him out and we all danced. We said our final good Bye's to Bigg Boss and his beautiful house. We stepped out of the house and I was sad that we had to leave!

The day was over and I met so many awesome people, Nayan, Sameena, Vijaya, Ankur, Srividya, Rajul, Satish, Swagata, Uma, Upma, Anusha, Sana and those who I missed out! Thank you for being a part of this journey! I would like to thank Bigg Boss and Colors for having me in their house. I hope they are reading this story and invite me next year as well! This is a day, I will cherish all my life!

Really enjoyed reading Atharva's experience in BB10. Aww he doesn't eat fish, n in non veg BB served fish only in name of non veg nd he was nominated, if I wud hv been bigboss, I wud made d nomination turned othr way, jo nominate huye un sadasyo ko save kr deti bt its a grt thing that he got chance to live there for a day nd yeahh he counted 55 camerasgodd how it feels, that someone is keeping eye on u all d time but m so happy for Atharva, m a grt fan of his reports n writing skills

Interesting! Atharva and others are lucky ones to explore Bigg Boss's Gorgeous House. however, if Bigg Boss would have called these Reporters and Journalists after the entry of celebs and commoners and than given them some tasks, that would have made more fun. Kitna accha hota woh bhi! Great article.
