Calls to ban Pakistani artistes 'really sad': Dipika Kakar

Uri attack, Pathankot, we have tears in our eyes when we talk about them. Our soldiers died when they didn't even have amour nor gun to protect themselves. Government have full proves that these so called terrorist belong to Pakistan. Aren't these ppl a part of the same country. Ask them do they sympathize with the country or dead soldiers family? Do they say our country wrong enough not to take tough decisions against terrorism due to which our India is today suffering. Answer would be a big no.
Artist and art they are not above country. You are born as an Indian and will die as one. These so called actors who are big names are just hero on screen. Soldiers like Nitin Yadav if you have read the newspaper are the ones who give lives and not these actors. Why taking their opinions if you want to ask then take opinions of them who risk their life. Art has no borders etc etc these are only name sake things, the country you live in is above every thing. Pakistan is the biggest enemy of India and allowing their countries actors here only shows that you have no feelings nor any pity on the soldiers and their sacrifices.

What a drastic way...Well personally, I feel outraged by the measures taken by the gov' It's like saying that as terrorists attacked a country and claim to be Muslim then the country should ban all Muslims which is completely nonsense. The gov only prove that they are short-minded I don't see where it would hurt them to let Pakistani people work in the country.. It's an equivalent of the american segregation or even the first phase of Hitler program against Jewish's people..I am really saddened and outraged by this measures taken by the government...

WOW!!! this is amazing to find more Indians are in a way supporting Pakistan. I don't expect these actors who run after money to understand a soldier who stands at he border day & night guarding the country but don't these celebrities think that its the wrong time to keep on display that they're mahaan, ridiculous people. I know its really easy to type those words on sns but plzz stop being so insensitive towards the actual situation.

Dipika Kakar, plzz stop dreaming that you can work some day in Pak as its impossible.

@latanzia, India is really different from America in its defense system. We all do know that America avenged its revenge by killing Osama Bin Laden for the 9/11 terror attack and the whole world supported it. Indian defense system works a bit differently, we never either attacked 1st or avenged our revenge, our defense system works in defensive mode to really guard our country rather than attacking some other country. The decision taken now seemed to many like you who are unaware of the situation as a political strategy but I think more than half of our country's population have consented this.
If you know even a bit of Indian history it would be so nice but I would love to enlighten you that India was/is never the cause of any war or hatred in the world's history. We Indians are so cool that we praise the Britishers for the tad bit good they did to our country while they literally robbed our country.
I know that you too love India and so are on India-forums.

So what about all the American that die in the 9/11 terror Attack and all the american, British, Canadian, turkish etc Soldiers that die in terror attack every day, you do not hear these country demanding Afgan and other countries that are terrorist haven Actress and actors to get out of their country, how will this help the situation, how will this stop terrorist attack on India or any other country.

It takes so little to love and respect our common man and so much time and effort to hate.

This is the reason why terrorist will always have the upper hand in this fight, because politician deals with petty and trivial issue rather than deal with the radical groups that are recruiting our young men and women and destroying our society.

It is a sad situation, our prayers are with the family of the soldiers that die.

Why this Indian entertainment industry in such support of Pakistani actors
Generally they keep saying we must serve our country via our work and when it is required they support our rival and a country famous for production of terrorists
Are there no any actor in India left to work so that you all people cast Pakistani actors
They are just double minded people
And also they didn't respect the sacrificeof our actual heroes our indian army
This is matter of our motherland respect and safety and we must not compromise with this for sake of fake humanity

Artists are not part of nation? Are they above humanity ? Or Jawans are meant to be killed while Artists can keep their Shop running? If civilians cannot go to the border and fight at least they can support in many their ways and it is one of them. Have you ever heard any Pakistani artists condemning their country or terrorist acts? Shame at even such times people like this say such things.
