BTS' RM sings Spring Day at special military event with families; fans say, 'I miss him so much'
BTS' RM rapped the verse of Min Yoongi at a special performance of the song Spring Day at a military event

One of the best songs of BTS’ discography is Spring Day. It is loved in Korea and even globally. No concert is complete without a rendition of Spring Day. BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon performed on the song with his military band and the videos have gone viral. Dressed in the red blazer which is uniform of Korean military, he rapped the verses of Yoongi. Spring Day is a track from BTS’ 2017 album You Never Walk Alone. The haunting video of Spring Day is also a classic.
He performed on September 28, 2024 on stage with the military band at the Family Love Concert. It was to commemorate Military Family Day for the 15th Infantry Division in Hwacheon. He also did the dance steps of Spring Day. Everyone was singing out aloud with the BTS leader including little children. It is said that the song was dedicated to the kids who died in the horrific and tragic Sewol Ferry incident of 2014. Around 250 kids from a school had lost their lives in the same. It is said that BTS members visited the parents and offered incense though it was not reported in the news.

They are Best Direction, Cinematography, Color Grading and Production Design. The director of the video was Emmy Award winner Lee Sung Jin also known as Sonny Lee. He is the man behind the Netflix show Beef. Namjoon’s documentary on making of Right Place Wrong Person is also being shown at Busan International Film Festival 2024. Namjoon aka RM of BTS is hailed as one of the most influential youth icons. From accepting the need in art for gender equality to promoting Korean heritage, he is a class apart.
