B-town celebs Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra & others mourn the loss of Disco King
Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Sidharth Malhotra and others took to their respective social media handles and expressed greif over the sudden demise of legendary singer Bappi Lahiri.

Bappi Lahiri left for heavenly abode at the age of 69, which came as a shock to the Bollywood fraternity. He was hospitalized for about a month due to severe health difficulties, according to reports. At Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital, he passed away. Social media has been overwhelmed with condolence messages since the news of his death broke.
Anupam Kher expressed his shock over Bappi Lahiri's sudden demise and shared an emotional video on twitter in which the actor says,
“Kyu chale jate hai ache log, as a person he was so encouraging, positive and optimistic. Bappi da sona pehen te the lekin dil bhi unka sone ka tha”.
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn wrote,
“Bappi Da was so endearing in person. But, his music had an edge. He introduced a more contemporary style to Hindi film music with Chalte Chalte, Suraksha & Disco Dancer. Shanti Dada. You will be missed”.
While Sidharth Malhotra expressed his grief by posting a picture of Bappi da and wrote,
" A heartfelt tribute to legendary music composer and pop culture singer #Bappi Lahiri ji May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to his family."
Also, Uri actor Vicky Kaushal remembered the singer and posted a picture of the Disco King and wrote,
”Thankyou for your melodies Bappi Da RIp”
While Bebo and Priyanka Chopra took to their social media handles and payed their tribute to the late singer.
Kareena wrote,with broken heart emojis

And Peecee posted a picture and said,

For the uninitiated, Bappi Lahiri, fondly known as Bappi Da and the Disco King of Bollywood, has been known for giving several iconic numbers which included Chalte Chalte, Raat Baaqi Baat Baaqi, Tamma Tamma Loge, De De Pyaar De, etc. He had also crooned the song Ooh La La Ooh La La for Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture. Bappi Lahiri's last song was released in 2020 for Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3 and was titled Bhankas.
