#BREAKING: And the much speculated role of Arshad in 'Bepannaah' will be played by..

Fans of Colors' Bepannaah were left shocked when Zoya's (Jennifer Winget) father Waseem suggested Zoya's wedding with some guy named Arshad. Ever since, rumours of how Vatsal Sheth was to play Arshad, started doing the rounds.

However, Vatsal in an exclusive interview with us clarified that he was approached for the show, but did not take it up as things could not work out between him and the makers.

And now, we hear that actor Taher Sabbir, who rose to fame on television with his stint as Viraj Singh Rathore in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins and later on was a part of films like Fan and Naam Shabana, has bagged the role of Arshad.

From what we hear, the character of Arshad will be that of a manipulative guy who would not be interested in Zoya but her wealth and Zosh. And with Arshad's entry will begin Zoya's realisation that her feelings for Aditya are not that of friendship but love.

We tried reaching Taher but could not get through. But sources close to the show confirmed that Taher has been finalised.
