One of the first movies to hit the silver screen this November is Rock On!! 2, the much awaited sequel to the 2008 musical hit Rock On!!. Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, and Purab Kohli reprise their original roles from the previous instalment. This upcoming musical drama focuses on the conflict in the North-East region of India, and also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora in pivotal role. It is directed by Shujaat Saudagar. The music, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and split mostly between two voices of Shraddha Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, has received lukewarm response. Will the movie match up to its predecessor? Head on to your nearest theatre on November 11th to find out!
Saansein is an upcoming Bollywood romantic horror movie also set to release on the 11th of November. Directed by My Friend Ganesha fame Rajiv S. Ruia, this movie marks the Bollywood debut of Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev fame Sonarika Bhadoria. The cast ensemble also includes Rajneesh Duggal, Hiten Tejwani and Neetha Shetty. The songs of Saansein, composed by Vivek Kar, and rendered by Armaan Malik, Dev Negi, Shibani Sur, Ask King, Najam Bajwa, and Swati Sharma, have already crossed a million plus views. Tum Bin 2
Yet another sequel gearing up for release is Tum Bin 2, written, co-produced, and directed by Anubhav Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Shot in Scotland, this sequel to the 2001 romantic drama Tum Bin features Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal, and Gulmohar Grand fame, Aashim Gulati, in the lead roles. The soundtrack composed by Ankit Tiwari and Nikhil-Vinay, has won hearts. "Teri Fariyad", a recreated version of the original track in Tum Bin, has received a fleeting response. This movie hits the silver screen on November 18th, so make sure you get your dose of romance.
It is an established fact that John Abraham and action movies go wonderfully together. Abraham's list of action movies go on endlessly. The latest addition to this list is Force 2, the sequel to the 2011 movie Force. The movie, directed by Abhinay Deo, will also feature Sonakshi Sinha as KK, a RAW agent. Sinha, the new action girl in B-Town, matched her male counterpart by performing some high octane stunts during the shoot in Budapest. Buzz has it that Genelia D'Souza, who was an integral part of the previous instalment, will make a special appearance in this movie. If you are an action buff, look out for the movie which is ready to hit the theatres this November 18th, as well.
Gauri Shinde, director of the much acclaimed movie English Vinglish, is all ready for her second outing in Bollywood, this time with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Bhatt essays the character of Kaira, a budding cinematographer in search of the perfect life, while Shah Rukh Khan plays the part of her therapist. Dear Zindagi releases on November 25th and also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi, and Ira Dubey. The movie and its characters sound grounded, and the first glimpses hints at the importance of finding happiness by understanding life's imperfections. Do make sure to book your tickets in advance because this is a movie you wouldn't want to miss.
A couple of sequels and a huge amount of romance are headed towards the audience this November. November can essentially be called the variety month as it has everything from action to horror.
