Bobby Deol, celebrated for his stellar performance in the recently released film Animal, has become the talk of the town, with fans and fellow celebrities lauding his portrayal in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer. The movie, which hit theaters on Friday, has been creating waves at the box office, prompting discussions about Bobby's character, Abrar Haque, and the audience's desire for more of the actor on-screen. In a recent interview with PTI, Bobby addressed the buzz surrounding his character in Animal and the viewers' disappointment over the limited screen time he had in the film.

Acknowledging the discussions about the brevity of his role, Bobby emphasized that the substance of the character mattered more to him than its length. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to play the role bestowed upon him by filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, even though he was aware of the limited screen time when he signed the film. Bobby stated, "I wish I had more scenes, but when I signed the film, I knew this is what I had. At that point in my life, I was grateful to God that I was given this chance to play this role by Sandeep."

Reflecting on the unexpected love and appreciation from the audience, Bobby was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response to his character. The actor was thrilled by the audience's affection, saying, "I was sure people would notice me, but I never realized that there will be so much love, appreciation, and affection. It’s like wow! It's amazing."

Describing his Animal character as a man 'obsessed' with revenge, Bobby shared that he approached the role from a non-judgmental perspective, fully surrendering to the thought process of his barbaric antagonist. Encouraged by the audience's love, Bobby even expressed the possibility of a spin-off for his Animal character, highlighting the audience's eagerness to see more of him in that role.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal features an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri.
