Mumbai Police has asked for the custody of Lawrence Bishnoi from the Centre. He is now in a Rajasthan Jail. The shooters employed by him told cops that he was killed as he was a friend of Salman Khan. They also said that Baba Siddiqui was close to Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan. Salman Khan made news with his blackbuck case when he was accused of killing a chinkara. The animal is held sacred in the Bishnoi caste of Rajasthan. It is seen as a manifestation of Guru Jambeshwar, who is their religious and spiritual leader.
