Balika Vadhu is going for a leap

After over dressed female vamp's, Saas Bahu series it's the trend of leaps that's being carried off in the television industry lately so now its Colors TV Balika Vadhu that is looking forward for a five year leap.

Though the channel is still contemplating as to who would play the grown up Anandi and Jagya. The character of Anandi popularized by Avika Gor, is expected to go through a complete makeover from a chirpy child bride to a poised young woman.  
 
From what we have heard, the little ones will soon grow up and will be seen as young adults trying to deal with their situation in life. As far as the story itself is concerned, the five year leap is sure to bring in some refreshing change, some newer challenges and a lot more excitement to the show.

When contacted, Ashvini Yardi, Programming Head, Colors asserted, "Balika Vadhu traces the story of an innocent child bride and how early marriage impacts her life. With the age leap, we enter the next chapter in her life and with her confident the viewers would express the same affection for their very own grown up Anandi and Jagya. We are still undecided on the actors who would play the lead characters, but they would be seen on the show soon."
 

The serial is expected to take a leap in mid-July.
