Balika Vadhu goes digital; Swarna Ghar to take over the time slot

Colors show Balika Vadhu season 2 launched with a bang but the show failed to get numbers for the channel. After season 1 ran successfully on Indian Television, the channel brought season 2 with lead faces Shivangi Joshi, Randeep Rai and Samridh Bawa taking over post leap. However, the show still failed to connect with the audience.

There were already reports in the media that the show might go off air. However, India Forums brings you exclusive news that the show is not going off air but is shifting to digital platform.

Balika Vadhu will air on Voot and in addition, we also hear that Swarna Ghar, the upcoming show on Colors starring Sangita Ghosh and Ronit Roy will replace it. 

“Swarna Ghar” depicts the story of one such couple, who never thought about themselves or their future and turned them down when they needed their children the most. After the success of ‘Udaariyan’, Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey launched Swarna Ghar, which will also mark the comeback of Ronit Roy Bose on TV after almost 7 years.
