Ali Abbas Zafar scored a casting stroke by bringing together two action heroes, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, for an action-packed thriller. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani project, is slated to go on floors by the conclusion of this year for a Christmas 2023 release.

It's one of the most expensive action flicks of the year, with an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore. The latest reports have some developments about Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming film.

As per the report, Ali and his design team intend to make this one of Bollywood's greatest action blockbusters. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan would cost over Rs 120 crore to make, making it the most expensive Akshay Kumar film to date. Ali is presently focusing on pre-production, developing action sequences that take into account Akshay's and Tiger's ability.

The cost of production for most Akshay Kumar films released in the recent two years, as well as those in the works, ranges from Rs 35 to 60 crore without his payments, whereas Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is two to three times higher.

There has been speculation that the film will be a remake of the 1999 classic, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, but this is not the scenario because Ali has created a whole new script.

While the production costs are estimated to be approximately Rs 120 crore, the two actors and the filmmaker are paid between Rs 200 and 210 crore. A significant portion of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be filmed in London.

BMCM's overall budget, including marketing costs, is expected to be in the ballpark of Rs 350 crore, making it one of the most expensive Hindi films ever.

The action is believed to be the film's centerpiece, and not only Ali, but also Akshay, Tiger, and Bhagnani are aware of the massive aspirations.
