Crime based episodic series have always been on the high, whether it is 'Crime Patrol' or 'Savdhaan India-India Fights Back'. These show not only garner substantial TRPs but also create the awareness they intend to.

We have seen a range of Bollywood celebrities coming on such shows to host the particular episode which include Ajay Devgan, Shreyas Talpade, Nimrat Kaur and Divya Dutta in the recent history.

According to a leading news portal, joining this bandwagon is singer turned politican, Babul Supriyo and actress-politician, Hema Malini.

Considering these stalwarts are politician in real life, we assume the nature of that particular episode where the crime happens, should be related to politics.

We tried contacting Babul's spokesperson, however, he remained unavailable for the same.
