Avneet Kaur and Shantanu Maheshwari's 'Love in Vietnam' debuts at Cannes Film Festival 2024

Actors Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur have teamed up for the first time in their debut collaboration, "Love in Vietnam," which was featured at the ongoing 77th Cannes Film Festival. The film's first-look poster was unveiled at this prestigious event.

Also starring Vietnamese actor Kha Ngan, "Love in Vietnam" is directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi. This film marks a historic collaboration between the entertainment industries of India and Vietnam, the first time they have joined forces to produce a feature film.

Avneet Kaur made a stunning debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2024, which is a significant milestone in her budding career.  She traveled to Cannes for the poster launch of her upcoming international film "Love in Vietnam." Notably, Avneet's appearance at Cannes makes her the youngest mainstream Indian actress to attend the festival this year for a poster launch, highlighting her rising star power.

Avneet Kaur is already well-known to audiences for her versatile work across various platforms. Her natural acting skills and charismatic on-screen presence have won her many fans. Her inclusion at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival for the poster launch is a pleasant surprise. Shantanu also made his debut at the prestigious film festival. The actor was last seen in the Netflix show 'Tooth Pari'. 

The film is based on the bestseller "Madonna in a Fur Coat" and is led by director-turned-producer Omung Kumar. He is joined by director-producer Rahhat Shah Kazmi, internationally acclaimed festival curator Captain Rahul Bali, and Abhishek Ankur. The film is supported by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai, and Vietnam Airlines.
