Ashish Roy will be seen essaying a prominent role in Zee TV's upcoming show Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein.

Ashish Roy who played underworld Don, Anna, in SAB TV's Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabad wale will be seen in a prominent role in Zee TV's upcoming show Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein.

Confirming his presence in the show, Ashish Roy says Telly Buzz "My character name is Sirji and I play the role of a director of a theatre group wherein the female lead, Lovely plays the lead actress. I am a strict task master on the surface, but have a softer side, which unfolds as the story progresses."

After playing a comic role in the previous show, Ashish adds why he took up the show " I take the roles which interests me and when Rashmi Sharma Telefilms offered me the theatre director's role, I couldn't resist. My own acting background stems from theatre, so its home territory for me."

Telly Buzz had already broke the news on the lead casts of the show.

The show is scheduled to launch by the end of April on Zee TV.
