The reason is practical—she currently stays close to her shoot location to save time and avoid long commutes. “Mumbai traffic can be exhausting. My current place is just ten minutes from my set. Moving farther away, even to my own home, would add unnecessary stress,” she said.

Although Ashi is not currently living in the apartment, she is proud of the purchase and views it as a symbol of her personal growth. She emphasized that this goal was never about status but about achieving independence and a sense of security in a fast-paced city.

Ashi is currently back in the spotlight with her new project, Ufff…Yeh Love Hai Mushkil, where she stars opposite Shabir Ahluwalia. Though she had taken a brief break from television, this new role marks a strong comeback, showing her continued dedication to meaningful stories.
