Pretty and talented actress Sehrish Ali, who has just entered the Zee TV's show 'Yeh Vaada Raha', is happy playing a negative role on the show. It's the first time that she is essaying a negative role on a TV show and is quite enjoying playing the character of Vishakha.
In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Sehrish shares more about her experience essaying a negative role for the first time, her equation with.. her co-stars of this show, as well as her other show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' and much more.
Sharing her experience essaying a negative role, Sehrish says, "I am playing a negative character for the first time on television and it's a very different experience for me. I am practicing to inculcate negative expressions in my acting. I have a habit of speaking fast but after playing this role, I have become more subtle while speaking. It's the first time for me, but I am loving it."
We wonder what made Sehrish opt for this role. She explained, "Vishakha will be shown positive in the beginning but she would only be pretending to be positive. She would eventually be seen showing her negative shades later on; sometimes crying, sometimes laughing and at times, in a mood of taking revenge. I felt that this character has so many graphs, and hence, I should do it. One of my friends did ask me, what if I keep getting more negative roles in future.. to which, I told her that as an actor, I should know playing both, a good role as well as a bad role. We should not be choosy about doing positive or a negative role."
"The other reason behind taking up this role has been that Vishakha is beautiful (laughs). I always wanted to do something where I can get a chance of use a lot of makeup and look beautiful. I am happy with my role on the show," chuckles Sehrish.
Talking about her equation with her co-stars, she said, "I have very lovely co-stars here. Ankush (Ankush Arora) is a very good friend and Roshni (Roshni Walia) is too young and she is so talented. She is a cute kid. Lata Ji is also a very nice human being. It takes me down the memory lane to my 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' days, when we were all new and went to Pushkar for our shoot."
So, is she missing her 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' family? She
answered, "I am craving to meet them. It's been long, that I haven't shoot with
them. I am missing everyone and they are all like my real family. They call me
and ask to come and meet them. They are missing me and I am missing them, which proves that how much we love each other. It's nice to have such a loving
family around. Blessed are the people who have a loving family around, and I
have one in Bhopal and another one in Mumbai."
Way to go Sehrish!

Wait so she thinks Chavi is a positive character? Lol before the leap I was just hoping her character would just get hit by a bus or something so we wouldn't have to deal with Chavi anymore. Plus what she did to her in laws was just awful!!

it's literally a nightmare, last winter we took a train to kashmir & there was no cleaning on the last day, food plates lie near the toilet doors, garbage was overflowing, toilets stink & we made a mistake to take the children too along so that they will also have fun, luckily we had planned to take the aerial route while returning

People not only throw stuff plus u find chewing gum stuck on seats and around and people eat pan and spit there..even in first ac class v find chips packets some times insects also and yes the toilets stinks..its so shamefull that till date no proper sanitation method for train in india is followed.therefore there is spread of diseased epidemics occur..it is nice of faranh to bring this issue forward hope the ministry focuses on proper sanitation with the help of engineers instead of doing corruption of crore and million rupees they must improve the living condition of Surrounding.

I sooo agree with Farhan on this issue!! Last time I went to India, I went on a trip in the south!! My god, it's so disgusting to ride on sleeping trains!! Our first train infested with cockroaches kept crawling around!! And a mouse running around!! I couldn't sleep knowing things were crawling around everywhere!! I felt suffocated!! And the toilets are disgusting too!! So dirty and everything falls on the tracks!! That's just nasty!! It was no wonder the train station smell sooo bad!! I'm never riding on a sleeping train in India ever again!! I'd rather take a plane to travel!! And garbage shouldn't be thrown on the ground !! That's another issue that needs to be dealt with India!! What a horrifying image of garbage thrown everywhere!! :(
