Sab TV's popular show Tenali Rama is all set to undergo a leap of six years, as hinted in the promos of the show already. The phase begins today, but it will not be instant.

However, the sad part about this leap is that actress Priyamvada Kant, who plays the role of Sharda in the show is all set to quit the same.

Yes! According to a leading news daily, Priyamvada will not be seen in the show anymore, as she couldn't see herself playing the role of a mother.

The saga goes as the motherhood track apparently was never a part of the plan initially and infact Priyamvada, who plays Sharda in the show is shown to be only 20 years old.

But, the makers only recently decided to enable a leap of six years, which meant introducing Rama Krishna's (Krishna Bharadwaj) child.

Priyamvada felt that she won't look convincing as a mother, and she has put in her papers, where the production house has also been considerate about her concern.

The actual phase of the leap is scheduled to begin somewhere around mid-July, and Priyamvada will continue to be a part of it, till the makers don't find a suitable replacement.
