Best remembered for her breakout performance in the iconic 2000s song 'Kaanta Laga', Shefali’s untimely demise at the age of 42 due to suspected cardiac arrest has left fans and the entertainment fraternity shaken. Since the passing of his wife, Shefali Jariwala, Parag Tyagi has faced online trolling, with accusations of exploiting her memory for publicity. Arti Singh, a close friend, has strongly defended him, condemning the trolls' behavior.

Arti Singh posted a lengthy message on Instagram, urging fans to stop trolling Parag and expressing her disappointment at those forming opinions without understanding the full story, which was met with reactions from fans and industry insiders.

On Instagram, Arti shared a heartfelt note, requesting fans to stop trolling Parag and voicing her dismay at those who judge without knowing the full story, which prompted responses from both fans and industry peers.

Arti wrote, "So true. Kitni Jaldi judge karte hain hum logon ko. Aur kuch Kitni Bakwas. Jispe beet rahi hoti hai na vahi janta hai. Do u know what they spoke. Do you know what they Wnated. No. BAs sabko apni tipdiyan deni hai. Faceless people. Who can talk on insta gram. Loosers of first order. More power to you Parag bhaiya."

Parag had responded to the trolls earlier, "For those who r trying to garner attention by saying I shall not post so soon. Bhai sab log aapki tarah nahi hote.pari loved to be on social media. And enjoyed the love poured to her. BTW I have never been a social media person and now she is in my heart, & I will make sure she is being loved by everyone forever and she is going to be on social media even she is not around. this account is dedicated to her only. And want to cherish her lovely memories by sharing with her wonderful fans who deserve to see her more and forever."

He concluded, "I don't care about the judgement u negative people having. I don't care about u but I do care about all the lovely people who loved her still love her and will always love her. I am going to cherish her memories with all of u."

Yesterday, Parag Tyagi shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, capturing the act of planting trees in memory of Shefali Jariwala, accompanied by their dog Simba. He wrote, “Pari always loved nature and she always wanted to give back the love the world has showered on her. This is the first step to give love back, Planting trees. Thank u everyone for always loving & supporting her so much and she is there to give all the love back to u all wonderful souls #shefalijariwala."

Shefali, who shot to fame with her appearance in the remix track Kaanta Laga, died on June 27 at the age of 42. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by Parag. However, she was declared dead on arrival. It is believed that she died following cardiac arrest; however, the cause of death has not been officially revealed. The Mumbai Police sent her body for a post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death. After the autopsy, police officials revealed that the cause of death had been 'reserved'.

Shefali and Parag met in 2010 and dated for four years before tying the knot in 2014. They had appeared together on the popular reality show Nach Baliye.
