Arshad Warsi shares an anecdote from sets of Bachchhan Paandey; says Akshay went swimming in 8 degrees

Arshad Warsi is busy promoting his upcoming entertainer ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon. Fans are elated to see Arshad back on the big screens after a long break. Recently, at the film’s press conference, the actor was asked about his experience on working with the Bachchhan Paandey team.

The Jolly LLB actor replied saying, 

"Firstly I got to work with Akshay which was a superb experience. When you get to know him you realize he has a lot to his personality. Also for the first time I worked with Kriti, Jacqueline all are very kind and talented people. I loved it."

Further, talking about Akshay, he said, 

"I can write pages on and on about Akshay. I must tell you one incident that Akshay use to exercise every morning. So once I asked him where are you coming from I didn't see you in gym."

To which, Akshay replied, 

“Mai swim kar raha tha”. 

Arshad then said, 

“Let me also tell you it was 8 degrees there and the water was almost freezing. I was wondering ki ye admi pool mai ghusa kaise.”

He further added, 

“I then decided to try it assuming if Akshay can do it then why not me. Then i went to the pool dipped by legs till the knee and I quickly retreated as my legs almost froze. Then i asked Akshay kaise karte ho yaar tum pool mai swim to which Akshay said 'niche heated pool haina'.” 

To this, everyone in the room busted laughing.

Directed by Farhad Samji of ‘Housefull 4’ fame, ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is slated for a release in theatres on March 18, coinciding with the festival of Holi. Apart from Akshay and Arshad, this action-comedy also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
