Anupamaa: Yashdeep blames Anupama for the food mishap

Tonight's Anupamaa episode commences with Toshu's (Gaurav Sharma) phone ringing, and he quickly apologises before disconnecting the call. Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) recalls Toshu serving the dish earlier and confronts him, questioning why he was so eager to serve the food when he usually avoids work. She reminds him that she had told Rahul she would check the dish and serve it to Ms. Smith herself. She demands to know what he did. As Yashdeep and Beeji approach, Yashdeep comments on the quiet atmosphere, suggesting they must have received good ratings. Beeji is optimistic, believing they will get high ratings. Yashdeep decides to share the good news with Anupama.

Toshu defensively responds, accusing Anupama of always blaming him. He sarcastically remarks that she must think he put cockroaches in the dish, adding that he feels disgusted and wouldn't carry a cockroach in his pocket. He explains that he served the dish because reheating the biryani was not an option, and he didn't want to be scolded by Anupama. As Yashdeep and Beeji arrive, Yashdeep asks what's going on. Anupama turns to face them, looking distressed.

Meanwhile, Aadhya invites Shruti to join her in bringing Pops. Shruti advises Aadhya against doing anything that might make her apologise to her Pops again, suggesting she go watch a film with friends instead. Aadhya refuses, vowing to make Anupama Joshi pay for hurting her twice on her birthday.

Yashdeep blames Anupama:

Yashdeep, surprised by the turn of events, mentions that they were hoping to meet an American star and that Beeji was so excited she prepared prasad for the Gurudwara. He expresses disappointment, saying he had come to deliver good news. Anupama, distressed, explains that she made the food with great care, but someone intentionally added a cockroach. Toshu denies being at fault, pointing out that Anupama left the dish unattended to take a personal call. Anuj apologises for calling her, but Anupama insists it wasn't his fault. Toshu continues to defend himself, suggesting that the cockroaches could have entered on their own and blaming Anupama for leaving the dish.

Yashdeep, frustrated, tells Anupama that her one mistake has cost them dearly, affecting his reputation and business. Anuj tries to intervene, but Yashdeep cuts him off, stating that it's a matter between him and his business partner. He laments that instead of delivering good news, they now have to deal with this setback.

Anuj comforts Anupama:

Back at home, Babuji is worried because Anupama hasn't answered his calls. Vanraj reassures him, suggesting Anupama is busy with critics and photoshoots, and advises him to sleep. Babuji remains restless, noting that Beeji, Yashdeep, and Anuj aren't answering either. Vanraj sends a message and then contacts a goon, asking for an address.

Outside, Anupama is visibly upset. Anuj offers her water and urges her to take care of her health. She blames herself for the mishap, feeling that she has ruined everything. Anuj tries to comfort her, telling her that crying won't solve anything. 

Anuj confronts Aadhya:

Frustrated, Aadhya, followed by Shruti and the nurse, reaches the scene and witnesses Anupama and Anuj. Anupama greets Aadhya with birthday wishes, but Aadhya rebukes her for ruining her birthday and expresses happiness at Anupama's downfall. Seeing Aadhya's insolence, Anuj finally reacts. He asks Aadhya to act her age and advises her to respect her elders, especially her mother. Instead of controlling her anger, Aadhya continues to insist on taking Anuj back. He clearly states his reluctance to leave, asking her to go home with Shruti as he wants to stay with Anupama until the issue is resolved. Aadhya remains adamant, sparking arguments between them until Anupama intervenes and asks them not to fight. She apologises to Aadhya for everything and expresses that she doesn't want to create problems in their lives, thus requesting Anuj to abide by Aadhya's wishes.
