Anupamaa: Pankit Thakker reacts on being the new Vanraj After Sudhanshu Pandey’s Exit

Sudhanshu Pandey's sudden departure from Anupamaa left fans stunned. The actor, known for portraying Vanraj, announced his exit from the Rajan Shahi show during an Instagram Live session but did not disclose his reasons for leaving. Following his exit, rumours started circulating that Pankit Thakker had been approached to take over the role.

Reports suggest that Pankit Thakker is being considered to fill Sudhanshu's shoes. It was also reported that Pankit underwent a look test for the role of Vanraj Shah on August 29. The makers of Anupamaa were reportedly impressed with his performance, and discussions are ongoing about bringing him on board.

However, in a conversation with India Forums, Pankit Thakker clarified the rumours. He firmly stated, "Just to clarify, I won't be joining the cast of Anupamaa."

Pankit began his television career in 2001 with Ekta Kapoor's popular serial Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii. Since then, he has appeared in numerous shows such as Bahu Humari Rajnikant, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, Dill Mill Gayye, and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka.

Sudhanshu Pandey's portrayal of Vanraj has been pivotal to Anupamaa's storyline, and his departure signals a major shift in the show's dynamics.
