Anupamaa: Meenu confesses her love for Sagar in front of the Shah family

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anupama seizes the chance to quietly slip out of Megha's house through the window. She plans to seek police help to rescue Aadhya. Just as she's about to leave, she overhears Megha asking the dean to allow her to leave with Aadhya, insisting that they should leave the city. Curious, Anupama pauses to listen to their conversation.

The dean explains that Megha wants to move because Aadhya's behaviour has been strange. He mentions that while she used to suspect outsiders, she now doubts Priya, and he fears that she might start suspecting him soon as well. He warns Megha that if this continues, it could lead to a situation where she might lose Aadhya and him. Megha interrupts him, pleading not to refer to Priya by that name.

Meenu confesses her feelings:

The dean then advises Megha to stop claiming Aadhya as her own, reminding her that they are just foster parents. He also recalls the loss of their daughter, Priya. She admits that she lost her own daughter due to her negligence. The dean explains that Aadhya's real parents have more rights over her than they do, asking Megha not to overshadow the truth. Despite this, Megha remains determined not to let go of Aadhya. The dean struggles to manage Megha's emotional state.

Anupama empathises with Megha's suffering but believes that holding Aadhya captive is not justifiable. She resolves to rescue Aadhya. Anupama is convinced that Aadhya's true happiness lies with Anuj. 

Meanwhile, Meenu expresses her thoughts on marriage. She reveals her plan to serve the underprivileged after finishing her internship. Meenu is asked if she is willing to move to the USA, but she chooses to stay in India and expresses her reluctance to marry. Upon hearing this, the prospective groom's parents become furious about having wasted their time storms out of the house.

Leela is upset:

Leela, Toshu, Pakhi and Dimple are furious with Meenu for rejecting the marriage proposal. Toshu questions Meenu about her feelings for Sagar. Meenu, while refusing to marry anyone else, confesses her love for Sagar. Toshu accuses Meenu of losing her sanity and expresses his fear of Vanraj's reaction. Meenu decides to confront Vanraj and asks Toshu and Pakhi not to judge her, reminding them of their own experiences with elopement. Leela becomes anxious about Meenu's future.

When Anupama returns, Hasmuk asks her about her delay. Anupama plans the Janmashtami celebration in Radha Krishna temple. Leela remains concerned about Meenu, but Kinjal tries to comfort her. Meanwhile, Anuj longs for Aadhya, and Anupama is determined to bring them back together.

Dimple taunts Titu:

The following day, As Anupama prepares to reunite Aadhya and Anuj, Aadhya eagerly anticipates meeting them. The Shah family and Anupama celebrate Janmashtami, during which Leela becomes upset with Hasmuk for leaving her alone. Hasmuk asks Leela why she is so troubled. She accepts she is troubled but refuses to reveal further. Sagar inquires about the marriage proposal from Meenu, who questions his interest in the matter.

Toshu prevents Kinjal from meeting Anupama, but Kinjal stands her ground, telling Toshu not to emulate Vanraj's controlling behaviour. She then challenges Toshu, asking if he intends to sabotage Meenu's life. Dimple asks Titu to take a selfie for her social media post, but Titu teases her, suggesting that she prioritises likes over love. She counters by pointing out that while her joy comes from social media, his interests lie more in the neighbours.

Megha discovers the truth:

Bala is drawn to Indra's presence, while Kinjal meets with Anupama, who shares her plan to give Anuj a meaningful gift. Meanwhile, Megha is enchanted by Aadhya's appearance in her lehenga, hoping she remains free from the evil eye. However, Megha becomes suspicious of Aadhya's happiness when Aadhya reveals that Janmashtami is her favorite festival. Megha mentions that the dean will meet them directly at the temple and suggests they go there together. Aadhya's enthusiasm about visiting the temple makes Megha uneasy. While Aadhya is in the washroom, Megha searches her room, growing more suspicious. As Anupama and Anuj pray together, Aadhya is brimming with excitement to reunite with them. Megha soon uncovers the deep connection between Anupama, Anuj, and Aadhya, as Anupama eagerly awaits Aadhya's arrival at the temple.
