Anupamaa: Haldi ceremony turns tense as Vasundhra shocks Prarthana with a demand to give up her child

Star Plus’ Anupamaa is currently focusing on two major tracks — the much-awaited dance face-off between Rahi and Anupama’s teams in the grand finale, and the wedding celebrations of Ansh and Prarthana. The dance competition comes with an interesting twist, as the losing team will have to apologise by touching their nose to the ground, raising the intensity of the rivalry. On the other hand, the wedding festivities bring in a joyful atmosphere, though Gautam’s manipulations continue in the background. It remains to be seen whether Prag will attend the wedding or stay firm on his decision. Meanwhile, Anupama revisits “Anu Ki Rasoi,” stirring up old emotions. Overwhelmed by memories of her past struggles, she breaks down, recalling how every time she tries to move forward, life pulls her back. In that moment, she remembers Anuj and the constant support he has given her.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, the Haldi ceremony begins with the Shahs and Kotharis enjoying a lively dance together. After the celebrations, the ritual starts as Anupama, Leela, Rahi, Prem and others one by one apply haldi to both Ansh and Prarthana.

The happy atmosphere, however, soon changes when Vasundhra and Khyati make an unexpected entry. Anupama welcomes them warmly, and Prarthana feels overjoyed, believing they have finally accepted her and come to bless the wedding. But before she can speak to them, Vasundhra stops her.

To everyone’s surprise, Vasundhra makes it clear that they are not there to celebrate. This leaves the entire family shocked as the smiles fade away. She then demands some documents and hands them over to Prarthana, telling her that instead of applying haldi, they are here to take up her burden of responsibility. Confused, everyone watches as Vasundhra gives Prarthana a pen and instructs her to sign the papers immediately.

Leela questions what is written in the papers, and Vasundhra finally reveals the shocking condition. The papers state that after giving birth, Prarthana must hand over her child to them, leaving everyone stunned.
