Star Plus' Anupamaa is set to take a 10-year leap, introducing fresh dynamics and new characters. Anupamaa, still portrayed by Rupali Ganguly, will be managing her successful restaurant, "Anu Ki Rasoi," but facing financial challenges. Her daughter, Adhya, played by Alisha Parveen, is now an adult working as a tour guide. Though Adhya loves her mother, she maintains an emotional distance as she builds her own life.
Adhya's growing bond with Prem, portrayed by Shivam Khajuria, adds a romantic angle to the story. Prem, her business partner, is shown supporting Anupamaa by delivering prasad to Adhya for her birthday, marking his caring nature. Their scenes in Dwarka tease an evolving relationship that will play a key role post-leap.
New characters are also introduced in this phase. Ishita Modi joins the cast as Pari, the granddaughter of Anupamaa and daughter of Paritosh and Kinjal. Spreha Chaterjee plays Mahi, Kavya’s daughter, who Anupamaa has taken under her care after Vanraj’s disappearance.
The upcoming episodes reveal significant changes in Kinjal’s behavior, now portrayed by Krutika Desai. Kinjal, once close and supportive of Anupamaa, has become more assertive and distant, particularly when it comes to her daughter, Pari. This creates new tensions in the family as Kinjal starts making decisions that challenge Anupamaa’s influence in Pari’s life.
With the leap, Anupamaa introduces fresh conflicts, relationships, and challenges, promising more emotional twists for viewers.

Big fail! I like the fresh faces, but poo poo on producers of the show to still have Kinjal with that loser Paritosh and to be against Anupamaa whom she always supported! How sad to run out of ideas and start working against your own success. So far none of the young characters seem interesting except Mahi. Too bad the makers made Pari a typical overweight woman with comfort eating issues. Why not make her the strongest of the group and proud of her accomplishments rather than be overly concerned with her weight? Although living with Kinjal and Paritosh would make anyone stress eat!🤦🏽♀️ Although I’m sick of interviews with those who have left on a bad note, they may have gotten out of this mess while the gettin’ was good!
