Anupamaa: Anupama shields Rahi during danger, hides her injury

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Leela remarks that Ishani has pursued a modelling career but didn't succeed in the competition. Pakhi advises the Shah family to focus on the competition's finale. Dolly mentions that Rahi, Mahi, and Prem have reached the final stage.

Toshu questions Leela's prayers, to which Kinjal responds by saying that Anupama's prayers are far stronger. Leela then confronts Kinjal and Pakhi, asking why they haven't prayed for their children's success. Pakhi suggests that instead of arguing, they should discuss which finalist Anupama will support—Rahi or Mahi. Toshu believes Anupama will back Mahi, and Kinjal believes that Anupama will not side with Rahi. The Shahs plot to influence Mahi, encouraging her to win the competition for the prize money. Meanwhile, Leela also decides to root for Mahi, hoping to see Anupama lose.

Mahi receives Shah's support:

Rahi starts preparing her dress for the competition. Later, Anupama steps in to save the dupatta from catching fire. However, Rahi misinterprets her actions and accuses her of trying to ruin the dress. Rahi then tells Anupama that she plans to leave the house for good. She then points to her packed bags, showing them to Anupama, while Prem overhears their conversation.

The Shah family wholeheartedly supports Mahi and motivates her to defeat Rahi and Prem in the competition. Mahi feels encouraged, believing the Shahs are genuinely on her side. Anupama observes their behaviour and feels disheartened by how low the family has stooped to manipulate Mahi. She reflects that the Shah family's greatest weakness is their own internal conflicts.

Rahi and Mahi's rivalry:

Later, Rahi and Mahi cross paths, and a heated confrontation ensues. Both challenge each other, determined to win the competition. Mahi demands that Rahi leave the Shah household permanently. Disheartened by recent events, Rahi turns to Ansh for support. However, Ansh refuses, expressing his disappointment in Rahi for disrespecting Anupama. He urges Rahi to leave them and move on, leaving her to recall her past moments with Ansh.

Fearing illness, Rahi tries to stay strong. Anupama gives her anklet bells, which were a gift from Anuj, and explains that she's given a matching set to Mahi because both daughters hold equal importance in her life. When Anupama gifts another to Mahi, she questions if Anupama wants Rahi to win. However, Anupama reassures Mahi that she values them equally and hands her the anklet bells as well.

Anupama protects Rahi:

Pakhi, on the other hand, devises a scheme against Anupama, Rahi, and Mahi. Meanwhile, Prem consoles Anupama, assuring her that Rahi will eventually accept her gift. Anupama quietly hopes that Rahi will value the anklet bells.

As the weather turns harsh, Anupama steps outside to check on Rahi, who is resting near the cows. Sitting beside her, Anupama reflects on how the upcoming finale and competition have placed her in an emotional dilemma. She contemplates that while Prem's victory would bring no issues, the possibility of either Mahi or Rahi winning might leave a mother's heartbroken.

As the storm intensifies, Anupama becomes concerned for Rahi's safety. She tries to wake her up and urges her to move indoors. In the meantime, she takes it upon herself to guide the cows to the shed for safety. However, as the winds grow stronger, the shelter above Rahi begins to collapse. Without hesitation, Anupama shields Rahi, taking the brunt of the falling structure and injuring herself in the process.

Despite her pain, Anupama focuses on ensuring Rahi's well-being. When Rahi wakes up and sees the aftermath, she immediately asks if Anupama is alright. Anupama, hiding her discomfort, reassures her and encourages her to rest and prepare for the significant day ahead. Filled with gratitude, Rahi thanks God for her safety, unaware of the pain Anupama is enduring in silence.
