Anupamaa: Anupama presses Anuj to choose between her and Aadhya

In tonight''s episode of Anupamaa, Ansh queries Pari about Hasmukh and Leela's whereabouts. Pari replies that they've gone to visit relatives, as Kinjal revealed. Ansh expresses boredom in their absence, and Ishani and Mahi also miss them dearly. Kinjal becomes emotional, prompting Toshu to inquire about her distress. Kinjal reminisces about Hasmukh and Leela, while Toshu remarks casually that they are enjoying their retired life, calling them attention-seekers. This angers Kinjal, who accuses Toshu of lacking shame. Toshu then suggests that Kinjal should reconsider her plan to move to the USA.

Pari suggests that Ansh, Mahi, and Ishani create a family tree as a gift for Hasmukh and Leela. Kinjal expresses her concern that without Leela, the Shah household wouldn't be the same. Meanwhile, Anupama reflects on her promise to Aadhya and questions why she isn't blessed with happiness. 

Anupama arranges a meeting with Anuj:

Feeling responsible for Anuj's unhappiness, she wonders if she's unworthy of happiness herself. Anuj, searching for Anupama, learns from Vanraj about her return. Anupama is surprised by Anuj's decision to leave for the USA. Vanraj advises Anuj to move on, sparking a heated debate between Anuj and Vanraj about love. Anuj firmly believes that love triumphs in the end, leaving Anupama stunned. Aadhya expresses her sadness about their departure to Ansh, Mahi, Ishani, and Pari. Anuj bids farewell to the Shah family, prompting Pari to question Anupama about her plans. Vanraj eagerly waits for Anupama's response.

Anupama arranges to meet Anuj at the temple. Anuj, hopeful and excited, anticipates a proposal from Anupama. Instead, she challenges him, saying he must muster the courage to accept her terms. Anuj, initially thrilled, soon faces disappointment. 

Anupama challenges Anuj:

Meanwhile, Aadhya burns photographs of Anupama and Anuj, signifying her opposition. Anupama then asks Anuj to express his love for her. Anuj, responding poetically, urges Anupama to propose to him. However, Anupama shocks Anuj by asking him to leave her life forever. 

Anuj is stunned and refuses to accept her decision. Anupama persists, asking Anuj to move forward and accept reality. Anuj, struggling to comprehend, implores Anupama not to play with his emotions. Anupama then presents Anuj with a choice between her and Aadhya, admitting defeat in the face of Aadhya's desires, stating that Aadhya only wants Anuj and Shruti.
