Anupamaa: Anupama gets the devastating news, Prakash reveals Rahi is dead

In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, Sonu once again crosses all limits of arrogance. He taunts Anupama, telling her to return home instead of challenging him. With a smug expression, Sonu declares that his father’s wealth and Prakash’s influence make him invincible.

He adds that as long as the two of them stand by his side, neither the police nor Anupama can touch him. Boasting further, Sonu says that Prakash has given him complete freedom to do whatever he wants, even to shoot anyone without consequence.

To prove his point, he fires a gun into the air, leaving Anupama and Devika terrified. Meanwhile, Rahi becomes terrified when Prakash comes too close to her. Trembling with fear, she calls out for Anupama's help while Prakash casually sips water, showing no concern for her distress.

Devika Rushes to Save Girija

Anupama, however, is unable to forget Sonu's past crimes, especially his act of killing her son Samar. Sonu bursts into laughter, showing no remorse for his actions. Anupama pleads with Sonu to release Girija. Instead, Sonu cruelly mocks Girija's name and throws her off a cliff.

Horrified, Anupama screams for Girija's safety and attacks Sonu in a fit of rage. Hearing Girija's cries, Devika rushes to help her, and Anupama joins in the rescue attempt.

Elsewhere, Preet is frantically searching for Anupama. When Pari meets her, she reveals that Prakash will kill Rahi if Anupama doesn't arrive in time. Both Preet and Pari set out together to find Anupama.

Anupama Faces Sonu’s Plea for Mercy

Back at the cliff, Anupama gains the upper hand and dangles Sonu over the edge. Terrified, Sonu begs her not to let go. Anupama reminds him how his actions cost her Samar's life and says he has no right to mercy. As she hesitates, Samar's spirit appears before her, urging his mother to give him justice and end Sonu's tyranny. Overwhelmed by emotion, Anupama decides to drop Sonu.

Prakash’s Threat Forces Anupama to Spare Sonu

Just as she is about to let go, Prakash calls and threatens her, warning that if Sonu dies, Rahi will too. Shaken, Anupama stops and pleads for Rahi's safety. Prakash mocks her, revealing that he caught Rahi trying to collect evidence against him. Left with no choice, Anupama spares Sonu. Smirking, Sonu boasts that Prakash's power will always protect him.

At the Shah residence, Ishani gets frightened upon seeing police officers. The inspector advises the family to stay cautious amid rising thefts. Elsewhere, Devika learns that both Anupama and Rahi are in grave danger, while Sarita discovers Prakash's truth and resolves to stand by Anupama.

Anupama Confronts Prakash

Anupama finally confronts Prakash, who cruelly tells her that Rahi is dead, leaving her momentarily devastated. However, Prakash soon bursts into laughter and admits that he was only joking, adding to Anupama’s frustration and anger.

Furious, Anupama confronts him for manipulating her. Tatiya scolds her for getting involved despite his warnings, while Prakash shamelessly claims women must be kept "in their place." His wife, unable to bear it anymore, confronts him for destroying innocent lives, but he silences her with a slap, vowing that this Dussehra, evil will triumph.

The episode concludes with Anupama searching through the dense forest, following the directions Prakash had mentioned earlier. She looks anxious and continues to call out Rahi’s name as she wanders deeper into the jungle, hoping to find some sign of her.

Precap for the Next Episode

In the precap, Anupama’s search finally leads her to a crucial clue, she spots Rahi’s locket lying on the ground. Realising that it might lead her to Rahi, she notices a deep pit nearby. Determined to find her, Anupama ties a rope around her waist and cautiously begins to climb down into the pit, calling out for Rahi as she descends.

At the same time, Rahi is shown in a distressed and helpless state. Elsewhere, Prakash is seen preparing for his next move, declaring that this Dussehra will mark the end of both mother and daughter.

Anupama finally catches sight of Rahi inside the pit, but a wall of rocks separates them. Despite the obstacles, she encourages Rahi to stay strong and assures her that she will not leave her side. However, Rahi’s pain is evident as she recalls the moments she felt abandoned. Anupama urges her to focus on the present rather than the past, determined to get her out safely.

Meanwhile, water begins to fill the pit, adding to Anupama and Rahi’s panic. Realising the danger, Anupama urges that they must escape before the pit gets completely flooded. Both struggle to figure out how to survive the rising water and rescue themselves from the life-threatening situation.
