Anupamaa: Anupama learns Samar’s killer is out of jail; Prakash is Sonu’s father?

In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, the story takes an eerie yet emotional turn that soon unfolds into a powerful confrontation. The episode begins with Leela waking up in the middle of the night to have some water. She tries to wake Pakhi and asks her to fetch it, but Pakhi remains fast asleep.

Leela’s Midnight Scare Turns Spooky

Annoyed, Leela mutters that Pakhi wouldn’t wake up even if an earthquake struck. Her irritation soon turns into fear when her eyes fall upon the photo of Sarita’s father hanging on the wall. She jokingly accuses the photo of staring at her, saying that while she knows she’s beautiful, that doesn’t give anyone the right to stare.

Suddenly, the garland on the photo frame slips off, leaving Leela frightened and uneasy.

Hearing Leela’s scream, Preet and Pari come out and mischievously decide to have some fun by scaring her further. Bharti warns them not to cross the line, but the two ignore her and continue with their prank. Their little trick, however, takes a serious turn when Leela gets genuinely scared.

Preet and Pari’s Mischief Backfires

Just then, Anupama catches them red-handed and reprimands them for their behaviour. She sternly reminds them that elderly people have weak hearts and such pranks can be dangerous. She advises them to save their jokes for people their own age.

While Anupama is scolding the girls, Preet suddenly says that Girija is standing outside and peeping through the window. Assuming it’s another prank, Anupama dismisses her claim. But when Preet insists she’s telling the truth, Anupama rushes out and finds Girija lurking nearby.

Anupama Comes Face-to-Face with Girija

Girija appears terrified and warns Anupama to leave the village before Prakash harms her. She reveals that Prakash is a ruthless man capable of killing and burying people to hide his crimes. Devika soon arrives and questions Anupama about why she’s wandering alone at such a late hour. Anupama explains Girija’s warning to her.

Devika then shares shocking information — according to her contacts, Sonu Rathod was released from jail l three months ago after his father bribed the police, and no one knows his current whereabouts. Anupama is left completely shocked by this revelation.

Festive Preparations at the Shah House

Meanwhile, at the Shah house, Ansh notices Prem preparing an unusually large number of sweets. When he asks about it, Prem explains that it’s because of the festive season. Paritosh praises him for his cooking skills, saying that without Prem, everyone in the house would go hungry.

Prem humbly adds that he even prepared sugar-free sweets for Hasmuk. Paritosh tells Ansh to taste them and later requests him to speak to Parag on his behalf. When Ansh stays quiet, Paritosh decides he’ll personally try to impress Parag to earn his favour.

Girija's Shocking Revelations

Back in the village, Sarita lashes out at Anupama for interfering in local matters and accuses Girija of spreading lies about Prakash. Devika intervenes, asking Sarita to at least allow Girija to speak. Gathering courage, Girija opens up to Anupama, revealing that Prakash is a dangerous man who preys on helpless women.

Shocked, Anupama listens as Girija claims that Prakash and his men exploit women and silence anyone who speaks against them. Sarita refuses to believe Girija and insists she’s trying to defame Prakash.

Anupama Extends Shelter to Girija

Leela questions why Girija doesn’t report the matter to the police, but Girija explains that the inspector himself is under Prakash’s influence. Despite everyone’s warnings and Sarita’s anger, Anupama decides to offer Girija a safe place to stay.

She asks Sarita to promise that no one will speak of Girija’s presence to others. Leela, Meeta, Khyati, and Pakhi all urge Anupama to stay out of trouble and avoid crossing paths with Prakash, but Anupama remains firm in her decision.

Ansh Faces a Setback

Determined to uncover the truth, Anupama declares that they will visit Prakash’s house the next day. She says that once they go there, many of his secrets will come to light, and only then will they decide their next course of action.

The following day, at the Kothari mansion, Anil introduces Ansh to a group of investors.However, things take a turn when the investors learn that Gautam is no longer associated with the Kothari family. Disappointed, they withdraw their investment, leaving Vasundhara furious. She blames Ansh for the setback, but Parag reassures him that this is just one missed opportunity and that bigger ones await.

Anupama Sets Out to Confront Prakash

Back in the village, Girija expresses concern that Anupama and her team shouldn’t have gone to meet Prakash, calling him a dangerous man. Gulabo reassures her not to worry, saying Anupama and her team are no less courageous. Prarthana adds that Anupama knows exactly how to handle men like Prakash, while Gulabo firmly states that if needed, she too will stand by Anupama’s side.

As Anupama reaches Prakash’s home with her team, Prakash’s family welcomes her with forced politeness. However, the moment Anupama sees Prakash, she fights to maintain her composure despite the anger rising within her.

Deep down, she feels the urge to break his face but reminds herself that patience is the key to ensuring he faces the consequences of his misdeeds. On the other hand, Prakash, pretending to be calm and respectful in front of everyone, internally mocks the women, thinking he is only putting up an act to preserve his image in the village and would have driven them away long ago if not for that.
